I'm improvising off blues and rock. I also enjoy jazz, world, funk, trance-fusion and many other kinds of music. Together, we can help create something new.

This includes the Beatles who had great tunes, excellent hooks, and who kept evolving,  Grateful Dead who ran with the improvisation traditions also pioneered by musicians from Bach to John Coltrane, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Rolling Stones, Creedance Clearwater Revival, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Cream, Traffic, Jethro Tull, Lou Reed/Velvet Underground, Bonzo Dog Band, Frank Zappa and the Mothers, Phish, Disco Biscuits, Buddy Guy and Junior Wells, many Motown and Stax artists, Miles Davis, Charles Mingus, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Rita Lee and Os Mutantes, Fela Kuti, classical Indian music and much more!

I like all kinds of music from downright weird to mainstream pop (also pretty weird at times :). I enjoy this upbeat Blues Traveler video, and over the rainbow it's all too beautiful, but I digress : )

I'm also inspired by ideas in the book, Free Play, and open to all kinds of new influences, including you!
