Faster results
My goal is to help you as quickly as possible.

We'll have a very good session without your advance preparation, but you can accelerate your progress.  My "secret" goal as a life coach is to offer life coaching that's as helpful as possible for you.
What to bring
Bring paper and pen, your laptop or tablet to take notes. This will help you get more from your session.

It's also helpful to prepare in advance.

The single best thing would be your notes on what's most blocking or frustrating you in life. That way, we can go right to work on your biggest challenges.

If you would like to delve deeper in your preparations, consider other suggestions from the list below. If you don’t have time for all those suggestions now, the most important is the second bullet point.

Bring whatever you're ready to show. Of course, I can’t guarantee we’ll cover everything in one session.

  • How you present yourself in your resume, sample cover letters, a link to your Facebook or personal web pages, and/or anything else you would like to improve.
  • A summary of what’s not working in your life, the problems it creates, why it’s not working, what baffles you about it, goals it blocks, what you already do and plan to do.
  • What’s working in your life, how this meets your needs and desires, why it’s working, any ways it doesn’t fully satisfy you, how it could be even better.
  • Your goals for career, relationships, even spiritual. Where you want to be with each goal in a month, a year, 5 years, etc. Your legacy to the world and how you’d like to be remembered.
  • An Activities Assessment Grid can help guide your career choices. It can also help select more satisfying leisure activities.
It looks like a spreadsheet with large boxes. Using a large sheet of paper, each box can be 1" square. Better yet, you can create a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
On the horizontal axis, list activities you found fulfilling. On the vertical, factors that made things satisfying for you. Use longer or taller boxes for these.
Put a 1-10 in each box where a factor matches an activity. Ten means most satisfying, One means least. If it's not a match, leave that box blank. Adding up vertical and horizontal totals helps you see what factors and activities you find most fulfilling.
  • Samples of your writing, artworks, photos of you, your photography and more.
  • Anything else where you’d like suggestions.
